True Affordable Housing
This program allows our organization to purchase a home, and you rent the home for up to 2 years.
While renting our homes, you will meet with a Housing Counselor and begin rebuilding your credit. We also offer in-house Financing, or you may find your own Lending company. We will only give DPA to approved lenders. If your lender is not on the approved list, you may still use that lender, but we will NOT offer any DAP over $5000.00

Louisiana: Caddo, DeSoto, Webster, Hammond, New Orleans, Baton Rouge, Creole, Converse, Monroe, Lafayette, Alexandria, Kinder, and Lake Charles.

Hurricane IKE CAT 2
This is one of the largest hurricanes that HIT Galveston and all of Southeast Harris County, Webster, and other small counties. Over 84 people were found dead, and $19.3 billion in damages. We have households that are still suffering today from this Hurricane.

This storm damaged the Southeast, Eastern parts of Texas and Galveston.
August 26 2020
Hurricane Laura impacts Texas, bringing 60-110 mph, leaving Orange, Texas, hit. 160,000 Energy customers lost power, including about 90 percent of Orange County. 6 died of carbon monoxide poisoning in Laura's aftermath, and an additional 18 people were treated for carbon monoxide injuries.
October 9 2020
Hurricane Delta makes landfall near Creole, Louisiana, CAT 2 Hurricane. This also hit Southeast Texas, with the SE Region Texas Airport registering a peak gust of 90 mph. 100,000 lost electrical power. Many homes were flooded.
July 8 2024
Hurricane Beryl makes landfall near Matagorda as a Category 1 later that evening. Hobby Airport in Houston SE was shut down, and flooding and home damage in Southeast Texas were reported, with power outages.
As we keep assisting communities nearby. We would like to thank everyone who donated to keep us moving around when "Mother Nature" hit our communities.
